Prem Dance Studio and its partner professional dance company, Silent Killers, were founded by Artistic Director and Choreographer Prem Rahman in 1999. Prem Dance Studio is located inside the Global Mall in Norcross, Georgia. This group is composed of artists who have beautifully performed contemporary, folk, hip-hop, Bollywood and Classical dances for many Southeast Asian communities in cities throughout the USA and other countries! Prem Dance Studio and Silent Killers hope to keep our culture alive in an attempt to create an atmosphere of home away from home! Dedication, practice, and a true love of art has ensured the production of countless catchy dance steps and pin-point perfection of each artist in this organization, which has ultimately given the Silent Killers and Prem Dance Studio their reputation of being one of the best and most unique performance groups in Atlanta. Prem Dance Studio and Silent Killers have performed with and for several artists and musicians’ shows over the years, including some big names such as: Abhijeet Sawant, KK Shaan, Rahul Vaidya, Adnan Sami Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Mona Singh, Vidya Balan, Radhika & Dev (fame of Zee’s Choti Bahu), Ali Zaffar, Salim/Sulaiman and many, many more.
Shilpa Jadwani is an Immigration Attorney by profession and a performer/choreographer by heart. Shilpa has been professionally dancing and teaching since the age of 15, working with several studios and choreographers. To Shilpa dance and music are like breathing! Shilpa moved to Atlanta in 2009 from New Jersey and immediately joined the Prem Dance Studio and Silent Killers family. She has been Lead Female Assistant to Prem Rahman (Director and Lead Choreographer) since then. For the past several years, Shilpa has choregraphed talents for contestants of the Miss and Teen Miss India-Georgia Pageants who have always placed in the top 3. Some of Shilpa’s students have gone on to become wildly famous actors, comedians, to own their own Studios, do World Tours, win countless famous competitions, and even organize national and collegiate leveldancing competitions. Shilpa has worked on Bollywood movies, music videos, national tours, conferences, and much more! Over the years, she has worked with well-known artists and celebrities such as Abhijeet Sawant, KK Shaan, RDB, Jay Sean, Juggy D, Radhika & Dev (fame of Zee’s Choti Bahu), Ali Zaffar, Shahrukh Khan, Dev Anand, Dino Moreo, Musical duo Salim-Sulaiman, Famous South Star Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), Jimmy Shergill, Kapil (of Comedy Nights with Kapil), Jay Bhanushali & Mahi Gill, Krishna & Kashmira Shah, and many more!
Amit an IT Professional who does everything on beats. Born and brought up in Mumbai, Bollywood runs in his veins. With family of all dancers he started dancing at early age of six. But it was in 1996 the meet and greet opportunity with the legend MJ changed definition of dance and music for him. Amit has been performing professional since he was 13 working with various dance teams in Mumbai-Pune -Bangalore dance circuit and choreographing since age of 20. He carries wide range of expertise with modern dance forms and tons of creativity. According to Amit “Dance is an expression and Dancing is a moment. No moment can be recreated so live the moment and dance to the fullest”. His expertise in reflecting emotions, messages and presence with his unique dance moves is something worth watching and learning. He likes to merge east with the west and believes to train with brains and perform with heart. Amit moved to Atlanta in 2011 and has been part of various events and dance teams to choreograph, conceptualize and present dance performances at countless events. Amit has worked with Rohan and Group (5 times Boogie-Woogie Winners), assisted dance reality shows worked with famous choreographers like Rohan Rokade, Suresh, Vernon, Salman(DID Season 1 winner), Cornell Rodriguez and many more !
